Some adventurous boys receive a letter from their friedn Larry, who had left school two years before to go to sea with his father, Captain Brady. The adventrues they met with are well told. (Catalogue at back of book). 160pp plus 4 plates plus 32pp catalogue and 1pp on 'Selecting books for boys and girls', bluish-grey buckram, pictorially blocked front-board and spine, hardback. Illustrated with monochrome drawings by A. G. Walker. Spine slightly sunned, top-edge 'dusty', slight edge-wear, prize-plate on front past-down, frontispiece misbound directly after front-free endpaper, tissue-guard loose, front hinge weak, good, clean, reasonably solid copy, no wrapper.
