Various - Thrills and Adventure for Boys. Capella Press, not dated, general opinion seems to be 1935; it does appear to be pre-WW2 to me also. Contains 11 stories, all anon; the geneal Empire defending adventrue tales you'd expect. 10½" x 7¾", not numbered (122pp plus 4 plates), paper covered boards, front (Arabs shooting at plane) and spine colour illustrated), hardback. Illustrated with 4 colour plates and with monochrome drawings within the text. Spine sunned, some loss at head and worn at foot; edge and corner wear; front-edge of front-board 'dusty'; inked 'enhancement' to drawing in centre of back-board; hinges, especially back, weak; slight rubs to boards; slight pencil doodles on front-free endpaper; some pencil page-title underlining; some titles have there letters filled with pencil; a few pencil margin doodles (all this is slight; you could erase them but the paper is such that its finnish would be 'raised' and it would look worse than the original pencil); page-edge browning; tear to lower-marging of one page; the odd fox spot; good reading copy; not wrapper. Not really collectable quality but then I doubt, due to the quality of the materials used, that any surviving copy of this edition would be.
