Balsdon, Dacre: Have a New Master.

Balsdon, Dacre - Have A New Master. Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1935, 1st. The characters in this book, together with the school of Hatton, are imaginary. The actionlies in the future [1975?], for obvious reasons. We must allow time for what Sir Percival on the platfrom would call 'The March of Civilization' and Sir Percival in his cups would call 'Progreth'. It has still a long way to go before the world will be ready for many of the characters who have found their way into this flippant story. (Prelim). 7½" x 5", 278pp, red cloth, hardback. Spine sunned, edge-foxing, binding a little 'cocked'; very good minus; no wrapper.
