Walter Scott, not dated, inscribed 1935 but suspect somewhat earlier. 8¼" x 5¼", 372pp plus 5 plates plus 28pp catalogue, red-brown buckram blocked in gold, yellow, blue and black, hardback. All edges gilt. Illustrated with monochrome drawings by Simon Harmon Vedder.

Spine worn/loss at head and foot, couple of 'cracks' with some loss round title-panel on spine, corner wear, name and date ins. on front-free endpaper, frontispiece becoming loose, good, reasonably sound, no wrapper.
